Missing girl : Please help them!

Those reader who come to my site, please copy this article and spread it,

Distressed parents Hairy Lojimin, 53 and Rosnie Majamin, 49, are pleading to the public to help find their daughter who disappeared about a year ago.

Their youngest child Helena (pictured), now 17, was last seen leaving her aunt’s house in July last year to meet her friends in the city.

She never returned home after that. Hairy, a Menggatal resident, said his daughter used to live with her aunt when she was in Form Four. “We do not know why she did not come home.

We never had any heated argument but if we had offended her in any way, we would like to say sorry…we just want her to come home,” he said. Hairy said he has already lodged a police report on Helena’s disappearance.

Anyone who knows Helena’s whereabouts can contact Hairy (013-8720697) or Rosnie (012-8306510) or her elder sister Rozita (016-5853566).

Defrag Ubuntu Linux ? Update!!!

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=228199

sudo apt-get clean

Kemudian saya terfikir lagi.

Akhirnya, anda taiplah suatu artikel / karangan

Seterusnya: Bagaimana mengurus laman web.

http://www.youtube.com/v/VIDEOID&loop=1&autoplay=1

Cerita fasal CMS

1. Anjakan Paradigma untuk CMS
2. Bagaimana mengurus laman web anda
3. Mereka-bentuk laman web
4. Modul dan halaman web
5. Memasukkan teks dan gambar
6. Tautan
7. Blog sebagai halaman utama anda
8. Modul, Komponen, dan Mambot/ Plugin
9. Fungsi-fungsi lain?

How Long Should Each Blog Entry Be

How long each blog entry should be is one of those tough questions where you will get a ton of different answers... in fact, everyone you ask will probably have a different answer as to what the ideal post length is. But the reality is that some types of blog posts require more words than others, while some market areas will define how long your blog posts should be, which is why there is such a variety of answers. So when it comes to picking a word count for each of your new blog posts, how should you determine it?

What you need
If you write a fantastic blog post that comes in at 1000 words, the last thing you should do is chop it down to 600 because of what someone says. If it is quality content and perfectly edited, just leave it as is. If there is an easy way to break it into part one and part two, consider that, but otherwise, leave it as the full 1000 and publish it as is. The last thing you want to do is starting chopping out parts and end up with a shell of the original that ends up being mediocre, when your original longer one was Digg-worthy.

Quality
As long as you are posting quality, you can do short blog posts more frequently. But don’t risk losing quality for quantity, regardless of the post length. Ideally, your blog post length should be what is needed to provide the best quality of article, whether than means 200, 300, or 900 words in each post. Just as you want to ensure you are giving the topic the word count it needs, you also want to ensure you are giving it the quality it needs.

Market attention span
The reality is that some market areas can hold he attention of the reader longer than others. Start by checking your analytics and see how long visitors stay on your site per page, with a variety of post sizes. If the average is 30 seconds, you will want to stick primarily with shorter, snappy posts. But if the average is 90 seconds, you could easily handle 1000 word blog entries on a more regular basis, as long as you can consistently provide the quality goods in that length of article.

Reader interaction
You can also look at your visitor interaction. Do your longer blog articles tend to end up with no comments while your short ones have plenty? Or your longer ones end up with dozens of comments while your short quick posts are empty? That could be a tip off as to the length of posts that are best received by your readers, so you can offer more of the same.

Most popular
Are your blog posts with the highest page views consistently the ones where you dove in-depth into a subject, rather than the shorter quick look posts? Or is it the shorter ones that tend to be the most read? This can definitely help you consider not only the length of posts that are most popular, but also the types of posts you readers seem to love.

Both worlds
One of the favorite end result strategies it to mix it up a bit and offer both. Provide the longer 1000 word posts that delve deeply into a topic, but then offer a quickie post of a couple hundred words for the next one. You can give the longer ones the depth it needs while upping your blog’s post quantity by posting shorter (and quicker to write) blog entries too. This way you are providing the best of both worlds for your readers, and satisfying both reading tastes.

The end result? There is no right or wrong answer to the post length question. It is better to focus on what each blog post needs than trying to conform each of those blog posts to a length that you think the readers want. Then watch for what seems to be popular to your readers and try and provide more of those post lengths while still mixing it up enough to suit all reader’s attention spans.

Scribefire ni senang sahaja nak install tapi mesti gunakan Firefox lah. Apabila kekotak soalan timbul, sila klik Install Now . Setelah siap didownload dan diinstall. Restart Firefox. Siap.

Sila masukkan alamat blog kita.

Cubalah. Post ini pun saya hantar melalui scribefire.

Defrag Ubuntu Linux

Saya ingat lagi bila kali pertama pakai Windows 98 dulu.

dulu, masa pakai Windows 98, kalau nak keluar rumah saja, mesti setkan komputer supaya defrag dahulu. Lagi pun saya suka lihat skrin defrag tu.

10. Mahu cari semua gambar tanpa ada batasan? Senang sahaja, klik pada "Moderate Safesearch is on" .

Ubuntu 8.10 "Intrepid Ibex" Alpha 1

The first development snapshot for the forthcoming release of Ubuntu 8.10 (codenamed Intrepid Ibex) is coming out two weeks late -- likely due to Canonical's focus on getting the Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS update out next week -- but what matters is that it's finally here. Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 1 is far from meeting the quality standards for end-users (there isn't even a desktop LiveCD spin of this release), but that didn't stop us from playing with this latest build from the Canonical camp. In this article we are looking at the few changes in the Intrepid Alpha 1 release for Ubuntu and Kubuntu as well as looking at some of the changes they have planned before this release goes gold in October.

The Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 1 announcement really doesn't highlight much about this release aside from its massive package merge from Debian that occurs at the start of each development cycle. This importing of new packages has brought in updates such as the Linux 2.6.26 kernel and GNOME 2.23.4 (ultimately it will be GNOME 2.24.0).

One of the first things to notice about Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 1 is its new theme. Originally, Ubuntu 8.04 was supposed to introduce a (much-anticipated) new default theme for Ubuntu, but that was pushed back into Intrepid Ibex. The theme in Alpha 1 is much different from any previous version of Ubuntu (see The Visual History of Ubuntu). There is much browner and the current design is a complete overhaul with nearly everything being different aside from the background. However, we are only at Alpha 1 and there is still much more work left with fine-tuning this theme before it's settled in October.

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/mirror.oscc.org.my-archive

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+mirror/ubuntu.mmu.edu.my-archive

  1. http://mirror.oscc.org.my/ubuntu/

    Buka terminal, taip :

    sudo wget http://blog.myfenris.net/files/myoss/ubuntu/oscc.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/oscc.list

  2. http://ubuntu.mmu.edu.my/ubuntu/

    Buka terminal, taip :

    sudo wget http://blog.myfenris.net/files/myoss/ubuntu/mmu.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mmu.list

kemudian update package

sudo apt-get update

Bagus betul. Malaysia Boleh!

Tips for Travelling to Malaysia

For those looking for a different cultural experience, or even just a great holiday destination, then adding Malaysia to your travel list will not disappoint. A Malaysian holiday can be a relaxed resort style getaway on one of the islands such as Sabah or Langkawi, bargain shopping and sight-seeing in the capital Kuala Lumpur, or perhaps a combination of both to let you experience the diversity of this amazing country.

For first time travelers to Malaysia there are several tips that will make your holiday less stressful and infinitely more enjoyable, such as:

Check Health Warnings Before leaving for Malaysia visit your family doctor to check health warnings for the area you intend to visit. If you intend to do any hiking or rainforest walks then you will need to start taking malaria tablets around a week before your departure. Your family doctor will be able to advise of any other precautions or medications that you need.

Airport Transfers By far the easiest and cheapest way to get from the airport into the capital is via the KLIA Express (airport express train). The train is very modern with video screens showing points of interest and things to do in Malaysia while you enjoy a comfortable ride into Kuala Lumpur in around 35 minutes. Using a bus or taxi transfer will normally take around one hour by comparison and cost a little more. An added convenience when using the KLIA Express to connect with a departing flight is the facility to book your luggage onto your flight from the central train station in Kuala Lumpur (providing you do this at least 2.5 hours before your flight).

Taxi Fares Always ask how much the fare will be to get to your destination before getting into the taxi. Taxi fares in Malaysia are for the most part quite reasonable however at times a naive traveler can be easy pickings, especially on a return trip from an outlying area so be sure to ask for the cost of the fare beforehand and if it seems too high then you can usually find another taxi to get a better deal. The exception to this however is during peak hours in Kuala Lumpur when you will pay more because of traffic delays. Your hotel concierge can advise you on what the busiest traffic times are likely to be. Planning your movements around the capital outside of these times will save you money if you're on a tight budget.

Don't drink the tap water To reduce your chances of having your holiday ruined by tummy upsets it is wise not to consume the local tap water. During your stay keep these points in mind: 1) Clean your teeth and toothbrush with bottled water. 2) Remember to specify "No Ice" when ordering cocktails or mixer drinks. (Many of the more up-market resorts and hotels have ice that has been made using filtered or bottled water which is perfectly safe, however if you wish to be extra cautious then it is safer to forgo the ice).

Buy personal items from a supermarket Make purchases of personal care items such as sunscreen, toothpaste or bottled water from a local supermarket instead of the resort or hotel where you are staying. Although the pric es of these items may not seem too expensive you will normally find a supermarket or small convenience store somewhere close to the resort where these items are up to a third of the price that you will pay at the resort. Any money you save on these purchases can be used for souvenir shopping instead.

Restaurants When you're staying in regional areas and choosing somewhere to eat keep in mind that you are no longer in a western country. Malaysia is a relatively poor country which is more evident in outlying areas than it is in the capital. While in your home country a restaurant in a run down looking building could indicate a possible health risk this is not the case in regional areas of Malaysia as many of the buildings are old because of the general poverty of the population. The best guide for choosing a restaurant is if the local people are happy eating there it is a good indication that the food is safe.

Keep valuables concealed Always keep wallets, purses, mobile phones etc in your pockets or backpack to avoid the attention of pickpockets, especially in larger cities. Although not a major problem any large population has its share of thieving so it is best to keep your valuables secure. It is also wise to carry your backpack on the front of your body in certain areas such as the china town markets in Kuala Lumpur where it can be quite crowded giving pickpockets a chance to access valuables within the outer compartments of a backpack.

Malaysia is a great holiday destination with excellent shopping, friendly people, wonderful scenery, and delicious food and by following these simple tips you'll have such a memorable time you'll want to return again and again

Top 10 Yahoo Mail Tips and Tricks

Yahoo Mail Beta
Yahoo's new version of web mail is, without a doubt, one of the
coolest and most fluid Ajax applications we've seen to date. For the average user it offers every major feature that you can find in Outlook or Thunderbird, and it does it with style. But that isn't all, the Yahoo team also took the time to layer the app with embedded tricks, hacks, and shortcuts that makes the whole experience that much sweeter.

With that in mind, here are the top 11 tricks that I use everyday with the new Yahoo Mail Beta:

Drag Message onto Contacts to do an Instant Address Book Add1. Trick: Instant Address Book Add - Drag a message onto the Contacts link and you'll see the icon change to a plus sign which means you can add that contact to your address book in one easy step.

2. Trick: Navigate your inbox the quick way - Ctrl + Shift + Up Arrow or Down Arrow let you jump to messages in the same folder that have the same subject line. You can hit Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Up Arrow lets you choose another factor to filter on (such as flag) when using Ctrl + Shift to navigate.

3. Easter Egg: When composing a message just hit the Subject: button to cycle through a collection of random (often humorous) subject lines. A lot of real gems in here including:
  • The brain has been polished professor.
  • All your platypus are belong to us.
  • I believe those were mouse droppings.
  • The twins just turned 2 and 4 this month!
  • How about never? Is never good for you?
  • Care for a foam apple?
4. Hack: Organize Your inbox via Message Finder - Now it is as easy as typing in a search, ordering the results by Contact, Location, or Subject, selecting the messages, and dragging them to a new folder. Sounds complicated? It isn't, just do a search and then start dragging and dropping messages.

5. Tip: Select Multiple Messages - Hold shift after selecting a message to select multiple messages. Hold Ctrl to add specific messages to the list. Hit Crtl-A to select all messages in a folder or search results. This is a great way to select everything in your inbox and move it to an archive folder.

Set messages to be read as soon as you click on them6. Tip: Read Messages Now - Go to Options link in the upper right hand corner and then select Mail Options. Find the item labeled mark messages as read and select immediately. This way when you scroll through messages you no longer have to pause one each one to have it marked as read.

7. Tip: Hide/Show Viewing Pane - Just hit the letter V on your keyboard to have more space to organize your folder. Hit V again to reopen the message preview.

8. Tip: Quick Compose - Type the letter N to start a new message or R to reply to a selected message.

Find text within a message9. Trick: Find Text within your message - Hit Crtl + F after selecting a message to find text within a that message. Hitting the enter key lets your scroll through each instance of the word within the message.

10. Trick: Scroll through folder without reading - Holding Crtl lets you scroll through a folder messages using the arrow keys without selecting each individual message.

Leave a comment and share your Yahoo Mail tips.

Bantu Ringankan Beban Rakyat Vs. 1 juta untuk Pingat Emas

Saya agak keliru sikit bila Datuk Seri Najib umumkan habuan 1 juta untuk setiap pingat emas yang dimenangi di Olimpik Beijing nanti.

Eh?

Saya bukan nak tunjuk apa-apa kesalahan tapi saya tak fahamlah. Tolonglah siapa-siapa beritahu kepada saya. Pak Lah hari-hari kata kerajaan sedang membantu meringankan beban akibat kenaikan harga minyak, tapi siapa pula yang menaikan harga minyak? Bila fikir-fikir, macam magik pula. Orang yang naikkan harga minyak (walau apa alasannya) kini nak membantu meringankan beban rakyat akibat benda yang dia buat? Eh, macam wayang gambar lah pula.

Kenapa? Ni kena kaji sendiri, kena fikir sebab kita negara pengeluar minyak. Tapi bila dengar pula cerita 1 pingat 1 juta nih sebak pula rasa dada.

Sambil-sambil rakyat mengeluh, tiba-tiba saja diumumkan habuan 1 juta tu. Kalau 10 pingat tentu dah jadi 10 juta. Eh, kata kerajaan nak berjimat cermat? Katanya kena elak membazir? 1 juta 1 pingat? Membazir tu.

Saya kesian tengok orang-orang kampung dimanipulasikan. Saya kesian tengok ibu bapa yang kena fikir 14 kali kalau nak berbelanja untuk barang keperluan sebab nak ikut kata kerajaan yang suruh berjimat. Ubah cara hidup!

Lepas tu mereka balik, bini masing-masing minta duit nak beli barang dapur, mereka mengeluh harga barang naik! Esok nak naik motor lagi, nak pergi kedai kopi, nak kena isi minyak motor. Minyak dah mahal, mereka mengeluh lagi! Tapi lepas tu esok tengok berita lagi, kalau berita cakap kerajaan nak tolong ringankan beban rakyat, tentu mereka percaya bulat-bulat!

Kalau undi A pun membazir, undi B pun membazir! Soalan undiannya macam soalan prasekolah saja. Memang nak duit 100% saja tu, tak ada maknanya mengundi dekat situ.

Lepas tu, saya teringat cerita zaman-zaman Rom dulu, kerajaan Rom ni ada satu strategi. Samalah yang kerajaan buat sekarang. Kalau rakyat tengah tegang dengan satu isu, beri rakyat isu lain atau benda lain supaya seronok. Sekarang musim bola Euro. Ni pun buat saya pening. Kat TV tuh dah hari-hari ada "Sorakan Emosi Euro"... Huh, sorakan emosi? sorakan siapa sebenarnya?

GMail Drive is a free third-party Windows Shell namespace extension ("add-on") for Google's Gmail. GMail Drive is not supported byGoogle. It allows a user to access a virtual drive stored in a Gmail e-mail account by causing the contents of the Gmail account to appear as a new network share on the user's workstation. In order to use this add-on, the user needs a Gmail e-mail account. The add-on enables the user to use the standard Windows desktop file copy and paste commands to transfer files to and from the Gmail account as if it were a drive on the user's computer.
