Remove Shopping Lens in Ubuntu
It came to my concern that Unity newest Shopping Lens did not filter semi-nudity / nudity images in its suggested products. It was a shame because the Shopping Lens could be the next big thing in Ubuntu.
You could read about nudity in Ubuntu here.
I hope the developer can come out with some solution on this issue. Maybe a image picture will just suffice or a improved Shopping Lens with user preferences?
Anyway, for now, it seems that removing / uninstalling the Shopping Lens from Unity is the easiest way. If you want to you can easily do it in the terminal.
Here's how:
1. Fire up terminal
2. Type this code to uninstall the shopping lens. Of course you need to enter your password when asked to.
3. Log out and log in again. That's it.
Hopes this helps. But if you want the Shopping Lens again, just install it back.
