Win XP Won’t Completely Shutdown

- Goto Control Panel, then goto Power Options.
- Click on the APM Tab, then check the "Enable Advanced Power Management support."
- Shut down your PC. It should now successfully complete the Shut Down process.
Bear in mind that sometimes it wasn't the power management problems. May be it is Software incompatibilities, including driver issues or BIOS problems.
