10 oldest domain name in the world!
Do you wonder what is the first public domain name? This is big, I mean the first PUBLIC domain name is how today internet is born. They are the true core of today internet player.

I could make a list of 100 but it would be pointless as I can also do 1000 or even millions domain name list. I just want to share the first 10 domain names. The first 10 which created the public net.
I wonder if it is only silence in the net at the time?
Anyway, Symbolics.com is still alive and kicking, although it looked like a relic, BBN.com is more than athletic, Think.com have been acquired by HP, MCC.com is unfortunately plain dead, DEC.com and Northrop.com was also acquired by HP. Xerox.com and Sri.com is clearly a winner too, and lastly Bellcore.com now is pointing to Telcordia.com.
So, there are winners and there are not-so-lucky .com from the start and this still going on till this day. Of course, from the top 10 list, HP is clearly a leading player of the internet now (by date) because it owned 4 out of 10 the oldest domain names.
So where is Microsoft ? Apple ? or Linux?
Apple is on 64 place, and Microsoft and Linux is nowhere to be found top 100.
Interestingly, IBM and SUN registered their domain name on the same day! And Intel a week after that? What happen on March 1986?
